At Siam Express we are firmly committed to being socially responsible, both within our work environment and in terms of giving back to society.
Our staff are provided with fair and equal opportunities together with the necessary training that allows them to grow and prosper, and we are proud of the fact that the majority of our people have been with us for many years.
Our organization is truly committed to giving back to society, not least with our
“EVERY TRANSACTION COUNTS” program. Since 2012, in September and October every year, we donate 10 Baht for every transaction we make – air tickets, hotel booking, visa applications etc. – with monies collected donated to a range of charities that have been selected by our staff. The results have been impressive:
We bought powdered milk, diapers, toys for an orphanage outside Bangkok, and hosted a lunch for all its kids
Money was donated to two charities at the Siriraj Public Hospital – one for patients who could not normally afford hospital care and another to its Cancer Foundation
Money was donated to an AIDS hospice in Lopburi Province.
Money was donated to four separate charities, two of which are in the Navanakorn and Amatanakorn areas where we have branch locations.
This scheme will continue in 2016, and beyond.
In addition, since 2006 we have actively supported, and encouraged our business partners to assist, the “BLANKETS OF LOVE” project, a non-profit operation that provides blankets to children in need.
Our social responsibility principles have stood us in good stead since 1960, and, going forward, will continue to define the company’s business philosophy.
